Army Most historical records of the United States Army can be found at the National Archives in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Personnel Records, inculding “Morning Reports” are located at the National Personnel Records Center in St. Louis, MO. The records available to researchers include official unit histories, after action reports, daily diaries and journals, as well as intelligence reports, orders and correspondence. If you are performing military research, the National Archives is your best resource.
