Privacy
Lyon Research is aware of the private nature of the information being collected. We make every effort to safeguard your information.  We do not share the information with anyone, except those agencies and archives that might be able to provide us information as to the location of the records you seek.  We never see your credit card information.  All faxes are stored as images and only your name, the service you requested, the date of the order, the date completed and that you paid is transcribed into a database.  For our protection we retain a copy of your request until the end of the calendar year after your request as proof of your authorization.  After that it is shredded in a shredder that reduces the paper to small squares rather than strips. All records are stored in locked file cabinets or safes in an alarmed office.  No cleaning crews or others have unescorted access to the offices. Only two people ever see your information, the owner ( a graduate of a Federal Law Enforcement Academy) and the particular researcher that is conducting the research.  All of our employees have passed a thorough background check.

Court of Jurisdiction.

These terms and all services provided by Lyon Research LLC shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Virginia. You agree that disputes and legal action shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in Fairfax County Virginia in the United States of America.  Customers hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such disputes.  If any part of these terms is unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that part shall be deemed severable from these terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining part.  Unless modified in writing and signed by a representative of Lyon Research LLC the these stipulations shall remain in effect for all transactions and uses.
